Frequently Asked Questions What’s included in the price? The price of £6,500 is for one car and two people and covers: all sea crossings, 5* accommodation at all destinations, breakfasts, evening meals (with limited drinks), exclusive open pit-lane world class track day (including refreshments & lunch), parties every evening and final night black tie awards party. What else do I need to budget for?Petrol, any fines you may pick up, tolls, refreshments/snacks during the day and personal spending money. What countries will we be travelling to?Each destination is revealed at the morning checkpoints where you will be given your mission pack for the day. This will include a suggested route and any pertinent information for the country/countries you will be travelling through. It will also give you full information on your final destination. What happens if I encounter any problems whilst on the event? In your daily mission packs you will be provided with a contact sheet with the phone numbers of the event managers, who are there to assist you wherever possible. We will not be able to provide you with mechanical support/back up though so it is imperative that you have a 7 day European road side recovery plan. Is it a race? The Cannonball Run Europe is definitely not a race. Do I have to have a sports car to enter the event?Absolutely not. You obviously need to ensure that your car is reliable as the Cannonball Run is a hardcore driving experience and the last thing you would want to do is spend most of your time waiting for roadside recovery service. The event is as much about the people and the driving experience as it is about the car. We obviously have a fair share of supercars but over the years have attracted everything from a massive Peterbilt truck and 1970's Beach Buggy to home built kitcars and souped up rep-mobiles. Variety is definitely the spice of Cannonball life! Should I bring any spare parts?Yes. Definitely a spare tyre, but you should also think of bringing items such as brake pads if you plan on testing your car to the limit on track day. You will be provided with a full check list of things to bring with you in the welcome pack sent out 4 weeks prior to the start. Will I need different currencies? You will definitely need euros and in your daily mission pack you will be advised if you will require any other currency. In most European countries speeding fines are payable in cash on the spot so it is important to ensure you always have cash on you.
